Every spring the Entrepreneurship Education Consortium (EEC) sponsors ideaLabs, an idea competition where undergraduate students from across the region compete for recognition as the champion.

ideaLabs encourages all students, from all disciplines, to think about new venture ideas, apply the feasibility study methodology and answer the three key questions:

    • Is there a market?
    • Do the financials make sense?
    • What resources are necessary?

Each EEC member school holds its own campus idea competition to determine who will represent that institution at ideaLabs. Only undergraduate students or teams of undergraduate students up to 5 members may compete. The concept/idea must be new and must have been developed in the 2016-17 school year.

The BW ideaLabs Finalist will take home $1000 and advance to regional competition for a shot at an additional $5000 grand prize, $3000 second place prize or $2000 third place prize.
